Most new shop owners in search of a new retail location usually consider a shopping center. The good news is if it’s a new center on the outskirts of town away from the mainstream shopping area, the square foot pricing should be cheap since the developers are looking to fill up space and will pretty much genuflect to whatever you want. The bad news is how long will it take for the new area to become prosperous with homes and other commercial developments? The way the economy is today, it could be a coin-flip.

However, let us assume you have several choices for your new shop. The first choice is to locate on one of the busy streets in the metro downtown area where there are tons of small shops, several major retail outlets, and not only heavy foot traffic day and night, but a Farmers Market every Thursday that starts at 6 p.m. Sounds like a great opportunity, but you need to check on a few things before deciding.
** Are the streets one-way in – one way out?
** Any downtown parking near your retail shop choice? Any parking meters or nearby parking structures?
** Any competition for your product on the same block?

If considering a local shopping center in or near downtown with lease space available, know the terms and conditions of the direct lease! Also, is the new shop space near other busy stores or off in the back of the mall, in a corner, or around a corner or up on the third floor out of sight. Many shoppers will not use stairs. These are risky locations. Be diligent and wise.

About 20 million visitors pass through this complex annually that really incluldes four historic places in one central location:  Faneuil Hall, North Market and South Market, and the famous Quincy Market are all right here.  You will enjoy the quaint cobblestone promenade filled with magicians, jugglers, and musical performers who entertain the many visitors. With over a hundred places to stop in for a quick or leisurely meal and to shop, you will be very glad you made this a priority.

For people who love the scenic beauty of nature, a trip to Yosimite National Park, the Grand Canyon, or  the beautiful Cape Cod National Seashore can be restorative to the soul.  The Cape Cod National Seashore is made up of beautiful beaches that stretch out for miles. It’s historical appeal will make this a place you will want to relax at and spend some time.

I want warm sunshine beating down on my bare shoulders while I am doing absolutely nothing but laying on a towel on a hot sanded beach in my bathing suit.  I would also like there to be a cold drink in my hand.  Yes, leave the snow for the crazies, I want paradise.  I want to lock up my house, turn on the adt security in alabama and head off to an island somewhere that is surrounded by crystal clear waters.
